Brush Lid
Ideal to encourage users to segregate waste streams correctly. The anti–splash brush entry ports ensure the clean and simple depositing of recyclate.
Can be used to collect a variety of smaller sized materials including Glass Bottles, Plastics and Cartons
Available in any colour from the standard Taylor® lid colour range and to fit container sizes 500, 660, 1100 and 1280.
Central Locking Castors
Additional locking security via the single press central locking system. Central locking (released by a single key operation) is an inexpensive and useful Continental option. The quick and easy to use system prevents unauthorised users from moving the containers, which can be particularly important when the units are stored in busy pedestrian or urban locations; it keeps the containers where they’re supposed to be.

Container Retainer
Taylor’s Container Retainer is the ultimate locking post system; keeping your containers secure against severe weather conditions and unauthorised access or removal. The Retainer’s lid stop also prevents large or bulky items from being deposited inappropriately by restricting the lid opening.
A Special bracket fitted to the rear of the Continental® is used to lock it in place to the post.
Quick to release for a busy collection crew, the Retainer is diamond key operated with padlock and key lock options on the 4 wheeled container posts and simple to floor mount.
Suitable for use with 1280, 1100, 770 and 660 litre Continental® models and the 240 and 360 litre domestic wheelie bins.

DIN Points
Provide an alternative means to lifting with the comb bar and also suitable for use with compactors.
Available as an option on Continental® containers from the 660 litre right up to the 1280 litre sizes.
Taylor fitted DIN points meet EN840 standards and can even be retro-fitted by our National on-site repairs team.
Embossing
Permanently identify ownership of your container fleet and discourage theft. Taylor® can emboss up to 4 Letters or custom die logos in to the top part of the logo area on the Continental®. Pressed into the steel body panel prior to the hot dip galvanising process to ensure the overall integrity of the galvanised finish on the bin is not compromised, this embossing cannot be removed or hidden. Taylor is one of the few steel manufacturers that can provide this service.
Flap Lid
Ideal to encourage users to segregate waste streams and deposit their recyclate properly, as well as restricting the discarding of large or incorrect materials. Influencing good recycling behaviour helps to reduce poor quality collections. The self–closing flap lid opens upwards to access the aperture. Can be used for paper, cardboard and mixed recyclables.
Available in any colour from the standard Taylor® lid colour range and to fit container sizes 500, 660, 1100 and 1280. The inner flap lid can even be a different colour to be more noticeable!.
Logos
Flexible design
Ideal to distinguish your container fleet or to brand your container with your corporate identity, logos are fitted to the special recessed panels on Taylor® containers. Logos can be brightly coloured graphics or photographic screen prints or just plain and simple die cut lettering and shapes.
Taylor has the powerful logo and paint scheme capabilities to help you achieve your branding, messaging and recycling participation aims. Our logo department is able to set your text and artwork to make your message stand out in a crowd.

New Forest Lid Lock
Provides more security from unauthorised tampering when secured with Fire Brigade Padlock and ensures that the bin is used only by the padlock key holders rather than the standard Taylor diamond key.
Available on Taylor Continental® sizes 500, 660, 770, 820, 1100 and 1280 litre.
Sound Deadening Mat
Ideal for urban areas that can be sensitive to the noise created from depositing glass into Continental® recycling containers, the sound deadening mat significantly dampens the sound echoing around the bin.
Standard Lid Lock
The standard Taylor Lid Lock is simple to use and is operated by the diamond key which is supplied with each bin that the option has been selected on. The container lid is secured shut, particularly useful when encouraging users to deposit waste in the recycling apertures and for preventing unauthorised access to your container.
