Taylor, the UK’s market leader in waste containment solutions, has been awarded coveted ‘Gold
Accreditation’ by the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) following a formal supplier approval process.
The YPO, a procurement organisation for the public sector, introduced its Supplier Accreditation Programme in
April this year in order to ensure that all its suppliers meet high standards of good business practice.
The independent auditing process, which looks into a wide range of areas such as quality, finance, safety, and
compliance and governance, awarded Taylor an impressive 81.99% score, ranking the company just 63rd out
of more than 500 organisations assessed to date.

Review, Local Authorities are increasingly grouping together to procure items in volume via organisations such
