Taylor Intelligence was created in 2007 to help bring more vision to the waste and recycling sector. It helps perform a number of roles:

Taylor intelligence is active in the following areas:

• scanning the horizon for emerging trends and issues in the waste and recycling markets and keeping Taylor one step ahead
• looking at the mid-term and long-term implications of UK Government strategy
• commissioning independent research to see how we can get people to fully embrace recycling

Recent projects include:

1. ‘ Recycling in UK plc: A state of the workplace report’, research into commercial recycling in UK businesses, with a focus on SMEs
   
2. The publication of a guide ‘ Waste and recycling infrastructure solutions for developers, planners, regeneration companies, architects and builders’.

Further projects are now underway and their results will be published in 2008.
